All prices are listed in Canadian Funds (CDN) and include the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

• Member Clubs: (Fiscal Year, $72.80- $336.00)
• Individual Members: (Voting, $28.00/12 mo.,$78.40/36 mo.)
• Talent Bank Members: (Voting, Professionals, same)
• Family Members: (Two persons of the same residence/ two votes, $44.80/12 mo.,$128.80/36 mo.)
• Family Youth Members: (Same residence as 2 Family members, Non-voting, 18 years of age and under, $11.20/12 mo)
• Youth Members: (Non-voting, 18 years of age and under, $16.80/12 mo)

• Continued development/addition of support staff for the provincial office and event coordination;

• Greater private sector involvement in regional and provincial level events;
• Expanded and greater regional access to Club Card Program member benefits, including regional theatres and theatre-related industry sponsors;
• Increased number of Theatre Instructor Tours and Regional Workshops in outlying Zones.

Categories of membership are valid for 12 or 36 months (3 year options NOT available for Youth or Club Memberships) from the date of issue and include:

• Personalized Theatre BC Club Card for privileged box office discounts, registration fees for all Theatre BC workshops and events, and prices on items and services at participating sponsors, including Budget and Choice Hotels Canada; (Follow this link for a list of B.C. theatres currently honouring the Theatre BC Club Card.

• MAINSTAGE Festival and New Play Festival event information;

• Eligibility to participate in Zone Festivals (and MAINSTAGE) as a member of a current Member Club;

• Annual Report and notices of General Meetings, (individual members only);

Membership Categories and Applications: 

Individual Membership
This is a full membership that gives you voting privileges on issues that determine the future course for Theatre BC.
You may or need not be a member of a Theatre BC Member Club. One or three year option available

Family Membership
A voting membership for 2 family members with the same residential address. Includes 2 Theatre BC votes. One or three year option available!

Youth Membership
A non-voting membership for youth 18 years of age and under. Only one year option available.

Theatre BC Individual Patron:
1 year $100.00 / 3 year $300.00
includes one Indi. Membership (see above), public Patron recognition and a $70/$225 charitable tax receipt for donation in support of Theatre BC

Theatre BC Family Patron:
1 year $100.00/  3 year $300.00
includes one Family Membership (see above), public Patron recognition and a $55/$175 charitable tax receipt for donation in support of Theatre BC

Donor:
Tax deductible donation in support of Theatre BC. You can specify the amount and even which event/section you wish the donation to go towards.

Talent Bank Membership:
Theatre BC invites theatre professionals, university and college theatre department instructors, and those community theatre participants with proven expertise to join Theatre BC's Talent Bank. This comprehensive compilation of Directors, Actors, Designers, and Technicians is the primary resource used by Theatre BC to contract instructors for Theatre Consultant Tours, Regional Workshops, festival workshops and potential Zone Festival adjudicators.  One or three year membership options available! A Talent Bank Database, cross-referenced by areas of expertise, is kept by Theatre BC and updated based on submitted résumés which are broken down to such specialties as Directing , Acting, etc. This information is made available to Member Clubs and Zones hosting workshops or wishing to hire production consultants upon request.

Club Membership

Your club will be eligible to participate in your Zone Festival and MAINSTAGE. As a Member Club you will also have access to our Talent Bank of professionals in all aspects of the theatre arts, for Regional Workshops, guest artists and as Theatre Consultants. Theatre BC will complete all contractual arrangements with Talent Bank Members on behalf of Member Clubs. Only one year option available!

Also available, at no extra cost, is emailbox hosting for your Club. You provide Theatre BC with the name you wish it listed under and a password, and we will set it up so that your messages are forwarded to the address(es) of your choice. There is a section on the Club Membership application for this info. as well.
We also offer Member Club website hosting for $25.00/year - call the Theatre BC office for more information @ 250-591-0018.
